Paulig has been recognised as the Most Sustainable Brand in Beverage in Finland in the Sustainable Brand Index™ 2026. The recognition reflects how Finnish consumers perceive Paulig’s environmental and social responsibility, based on a nationally representative evaluation aligned with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
“We are grateful that the Finns appreciate our long-term work in sustainability. This acknowledgement strengthens our determination to keep driving sustainability actions across our entire value chain and communicating about it transparently,” said Salla Sulasuo, Director, Sustainability at Paulig.
As part of its long-term sustainability efforts, Paulig communicates transparently about the journey of its coffee from farm to cup. This journey builds on close partnerships across the coffee value chain, driving concrete sustainability actions in both Paulig’s own operations as well as in the value chain. As an example, coffee projects financed via the Climate Fund of Paulig help reduce emissions from coffee farming, promote regenerative agricultural practices and boost the productivity of coffee farming. Coffee also holds an important place in Finnish everyday life. In a recent Paulig study, face-to-face encounters were found to have decreased for nearly half of Finns, while 70% wish they could meet their loved ones more often. A shared coffee moment emerged as the most natural way for people to connect, underscoring the social role coffee plays in Finnish everyday life.
